Have you ever taken a trip to South Beach and suddenly felt like you’re in a charming European village? Well, chances are you stumbled upon Española Way. This beautiful part of Miami was designed by N.B.T Roney in 1925 with the concept of building a romantic Spanish villa in the heart of the city. Española Way in Miami Beach serves as a place to get away and relax from the otherwise bustling parts of Miami.

Things to Do on Española Way

If you’re interested in somewhere to stay around the neighborhood, The Clay Hotel and El Paseo Hotel are a couple of prime options. Outdoor cafes like A La Folie Cafe give life to the couple of blocks that make up Española Way as well as delicious restaurants like Pane & Vino, Hosteria Romana, and Havana 1957. If you´re in the mood for traditional Spanish cuisine, stop by Tapas & Tintos.

The new Sunday bazaars in collaboration with the Market Company also bring in a lot of people since it gives them the opportunity to shop for different types of products, clothing, and treats at a great price. Española Way is also filled with boutiques, art galleries, and gelaterias that continue to add to the villa´s European flavor.

As you stroll down Española Way, it’s easy to forget that you’re in Miami. When the sun goes down, beautiful lights adorn the streets as they give way to the neighborhood's nightlife, making you think you’re in a strange part of Midnight in Paris. The ocean breeze and local palm trees are probably the only constant reminders that you’re not actually in 1920s Europe.
