From the moment I walked in, I could tell right away that Miami's Wynwood Fear Factory would be nothing short of spectacular. Instead of being outdoors, Wynwood Fear Factory went inside the convention center of Mana Wynwood this year and completely transformed the room into a raver’s dream. All of the elements including the bright, colorful lights and booming beats created the perfect atmosphere for one hell of an EDM party!
After "Deep House Set" from Born Dirty, Brohug was the next set up. The second they came on, the party began! The high energy set filled with bangers left no doubt that Brohug was a crowd favorite at the Wynwood Fear Factory.
Other than awesome EDM music, one of the highlights at Wynwood Fear Factory was everyone showing up super sexy, super scary, and, like yours truly, Super Mario! There was also a group dressed as "Where's Waldo?" characters, which was genius on a couple of levels. If you plan on going to a Halloween music festival with a big group, it’s a great idea to wear matching costumes like they did so everyone in the group is easier to find... like Waldo!
Seeing Duke Dumont and RL Grime from the VIP viewing area definitely gave a whole new experience at the Wynwood Fear Factory. RL Grime without a doubt stole the show! From his opening song to his last track, you could tell the crowd was hyped to see the trap king as they jumped and danced the whole time.
After experiencing Wynwood Fear Factory, all I can say is that my fellow EDM fans and I can’t wait for it to be Halloween again!
