If you want to get a cheap drink in Miami, you have to know where to look. It’s no surprise this bar is called Ted’s Hideaway since many locals love to take shelter in it from time to time. Located at 124 2nd St in Miami Beach, this dive bar is known for its cheap drinks and the service quality. It’s a melting pot of people that take advantage of everything this place has to offer. The bar also has happy hour from 12 pm to 8 pm, offering you amazing drinks at extremely low prices.
This place is awesome. Not only does it offer a delicious beer menu, but they also give out different board games to play with your friends as you kick back and relax. It’s true you might get mad if you lose, but playing Jenga while getting cheap drinks is still pretty cool. The brewery is at 325 NW 24th St, in Wynwood. If you’re in the neighborhood between the hours of 5 pm and 7 pm on weekdays, don’t miss out on their happy hour for $1 off beers.
The Wetlab
Although many people seem to have trouble finding this place, it’s well-worth the find. Cheap drinks and an incredible view of the ocean are just some of The Wetlab’s main features. It has a friendly environment, most of the people that frequent this dive bar are graduate students from UM that like to get affordable drinks on their free time and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Boats can also be appreciated as they’re usually sailing through those parts. The bar is located next to the Miami University Campus on Virginia Key, just south of downtown Miami.
On the Rocks Sports Bar
If you’re in the Miami Beach area, this is a place you don’t want to miss. On The Rocks is a great dive bar with excellent prices located on 217 71st St. It is a go-to place for locals and opens from 8am-5am. I guess if you’re an early drinker, now you can add a new spot on your list. The bar is known for its excellent atmosphere and great service. On The Rocks also features pool tables, TV, and good music. Don’t forget to stop by!
