Join Mayor Joseph M. Corradino and Miami-County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava at The Health of Biscayne Bay with Resilient 305 Town Hall on Wednesday, March 22 at 6 pm at Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Road to learn about calls to action, county programs, and partnerships that are working towards improved health of the bay. This is a free event open to the public. Please RSVP HERE.
Pinecrest has a long history of environmental sensitivity and activism, as a community and as a municipal government. In the coming months and years, sustainability will be front and center as the Village Council has made it a priority in its Strategic Plan.
Through events such as the Office of Resilience Town Hall, the Village is committed to leading by demonstrating sustainable stewardship. The health of Biscayne Bay, an ecological gem, depends on a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship between it and the people who live and visit here. Whether this is at home, on land or in the water, every action one takes can hurt or help Biscayne Bay.
Resilient305: Since its launch, the Resilient305 team has learned from the region’s grassroots, community, business, and academic leaders some of the challenges that are most hindering our community’s ability to build and maintain a viable future for the people who call Greater Miami and the Beaches their home.
