Festival for the Cures and Record! (Cancer O.U.T. by On P.A.R.)

Join us in setting our first-time worldwide record attempt! And finish your day by celebrating in our Festival For the Cures.

This will take place in November 8 th, 2019 from 3 to 9 PM.

You will get:

1. Certificate of participation for the record attempt (300 participants first come, first serve the day of the event)

2. Volunteer hours (if you would like to volunteer, please send an email to any address below)

3. A little gift



We will have:

1. Food and drinks

2. Games for all ages!

3. Live music and Karaoke

4. Human-sized games (Ex. Human Bowling)

5. Raffle

6. Many hours of fun for you, your family, and friends!

Cancer is a disease plaguing the lives of most individuals. Thus, it is a problem that is not only applicable to the residents of our local community of Little Havana, but more so at a global scale. However, with the proper motivation and intensified efforts, the incessant effects of cancer can be halted.

The Cancer O.U.T. by On P.A.R. with Cancer initiative is a project consisting of three integral components centered on cancer Outreach, Understanding, and Transformation (“O.U.T.”), as well as Prevention, Awareness and Research (“P.A.R.”). As the Miami Dade College Beta Kappa Iota chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, our vision for our Honors in Action initiative, a community-based project, will revolve around this multifaceted cancer
awareness campaign.

100% of all funds collected will be used to further strengthen the fight against cancer as they will be donated amongst several cancer foundations sharing the same mission.
