Let the games begin! CityPlace Doral – South Florida’s premier wellness, entertainment, dining and restaurant destination – is teaming up with RECREA to host Go for the Gold Kid Olympics in celebration of the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Event Details
Taking place in Paris, France, the 2024 Summer Olympics take place July 26 through Aug. 11. The free, family-friendly event will take place in CityPlace Doral’s Fountain Plaza on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to go for the gold and participate in interactive activities including themed sports games, a live DJ, a Martial Arts performance, giveaways and more.
The community is also invited to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics at CityPlace Doral’s expansive collection of dining options, from upscale restaurants to outdoor cafés and bistros. To view the full list of restaurants, please visit https://cityplacedoral.com/restaurants.
Guests can also enjoy CityPlace Doral’s seasonal Instagrammable art installation made entirely of sunflower-decorated umbrellas. Upon entering the center, guests will be welcomed with 1,300 sunflower-decorated umbrellas floating overhead on the boulevard, as an extension of The Oasis experience. The umbrellas are arranged where the sunflowers are visible from both the top and the bottom, adding a touch of uniqueness to the atmosphere. The umbrellas will be on display through Aug. 31.
