It seems like every week locals are queued up in Downtown Miami, Brickell, Wynwood or South Beach for a steady diet of libations and good company. But Miami’s best bar crawl isn’t in any of the previously mentioned places. It’s happening this weekend in Doral as part of Tank Brewing Co.’s South Florida Craft Beer Run.
Tank Brewing Company and the South Florida Craft Beer Run are in Doral today, September 30. The race begins at 6:00 pm. The brewery is welcoming runners, fitness enthusiasts, beer lovers and anyone interested in contributing to a good cause. After the race, there will be a festival with samples of beer brewed by nine local breweries such as MIA Beer Company, Funky Buddha, and Wynwood Brewing. Runners can also sate themselves with food bites while kicking back to live music, games and more.
The South Florida Craft Beer Run isn’t Miami’s best bar crawl because you get a chance to work off some calories before sipping on crisp drinks and snacks. It's the best because proceeds from this run go towards local charities, Amigos for Kids and Live Like Bella.
Amigos For Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect by valuing children, strengthening families, and educating communities.
Live Like Bella Foundation funds innovative pediatric cancer research and provides support for families with children currently in treatment. Their goal is to make pediatric cancer a curable and treatable disease.
