Every month outside of the Pérez Art Museum in Miami the northeast corner of the park, you can spot groups of yoga enthusiasts stretching out on the grass as part of a donation-based Rise & SoulShine Yoga event led by local celebrity instructors, Jessie Patter and Julianne Aerhee. Hosted by Priti Yoga and Team Vinchay, Rise & SoulShine is usually held every second Saturday of the month.

This month’s class on March 31from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. has been dubbed Puppy Yoga as the contributions will be going towards Jamie’s Rescue. Unlike animal control, Jamie’s Rescue is a no-kill shelter that helps place abandoned puppies in safe forever homes. Representatives from Jamie’s Rescue will be on site along with some of their furry, adorable four-legged friends that are hoping to steal your heart and find a new, loving home.
After Puppy Yoga is over, enjoy refreshments and stroll around the mini-market featuring Miami vendors selling natural products. Vendors include Sansavita CBD Oils, Bloodless Vegan, MLPieces, Live Ultimate, CooLHeadS, Harmless Harvest, Raw Juse, Wedge Effect, Invite & Meet, The Yielding Seed, and LuLuLemon.
Although there is not a set donation amount, a $5 donation is suggest, but any amount is more than welcomed and appreciated. Donations will be helping the shelter with its operating costs so they continue helping orphaned puppies find their new homes. Your donation also automatically enters you into a raffle for variety of gifts from several different sponsors. This month's prizes are:
