This year’s show will be featuring over 250 world-famous galleries. At Art Basel , you can find art in all its wonderful forms, from painting, drawings, and sculptures to oversized outdoor pieces, performances, and films. Not to mention large portions of the legendary Wynwood Walls will be redone and exhibited during Art Basel as it returns to Miami.
Art Basel is known not only for featuring famous artist of all genres including modern and contemporary but new and upcoming artists also have a chance to shine and get their name and work out for everyone to view. The good times don’t die when it’s closing time, the Art Basel after parties are just as iconic themselves. Many other venues in the Wynwood area open their doors as the art shows closes theirs for their yearly Art Basel themed celebrations.
Anyone looking to attend this grand event has plenty of days to choose from as Art Basel opens to the public December 6th through December 9th with the hours of noon to 8 p.m. except for opening day when the show begins at 3 p.m. Mark your calendars as this is certainly not an event that anyone would want to miss.
